i hate those fucking cycle syncing workout things because it’s literally bullshit. the reason you don’t feel like working out harder on your period is because you’re not getting enough water and iron regularly and when you’re losing even more of that during shark week, you get fatigued. eat some spinach and drink some water and i promise you can do whatever you want with equal strength. and if it still feels shitty it’s because you’re cramping not because your estrogen levels are low. and the week after your period doesn’t turn you into a body builder overnight from the testosterone surge, you just have higher energy because you’re not actively bleeding out the small amount of iron you have anymore. again just spend the month doing what you’re supposed to be doing and suddenly the difference isn’t quite as stark. and if your cramps are so bad you can’t move around then you need to talk to a doctor, not resign yourself to yoga only workouts for half the month.

She’s proud when they start calling her “the Witch”, takes it as a mark of pride that these useless automata are finally learning their place, until another officer tells her it’s a term of endearment for dolls. Then she hears it everytime, like nails on a chalkboard. “my witch”. “my witch”. “my witch”. mine.
She’s quickly promoted. She should be happy. She isn’t. They offer to appoint more soldiers to her squadron. She should take it. She doesn’t.
She orders her dolls to stand down, uses the officer’s passphrase to force them into immobility.
They watch as she rushes into her first proper sortie, still green-at-heart. She doesn’t bother dodging long-range fire. She doesn’t bother using her Lance’s reinforced point. She doesn’t bother skewering the cockpit, sinking herself into something warm and hot and squidgy to the hilt. She doesn’t bother ending it quickly. She batters and wallops and spits. Family colors scraped down to raw hull, family crest cratered by shells beyond all recognition. She should be happy.
When there’s one last survivor, and she’s finished prying off all its limbs, she opens the cockpit like an oyster, and extracts the wriggling rebel. She carries it back to her squadron like a prize. She gets to keep this one, another of her dolls.

A complete guide to hand care for the porcelain dolls among us
While you certainly don't need ten steps involving harsh exfoliation, that weird red serum from the Ordinary or baking your hands in plastic gloves, taking care of your hands can be very rewarding, seeing as you essentially stare at them all day every day.
Let's clear some misinformation: you cannot make your fingers physically longer, no matter how many hand exercises you do. The length of your fingers is reliant on your genetics, and what kind of activities you did while your bones were still growing (Which is why pianists have such beautiful hands). You can, however, change the texture of your skin, correct hyperpigmentation and increase flexibility of and circulation in your hands.
Strategies
Before going to sleep, massage a hydrating moisturiser or lotion into your hands, and cover with cotton gloves. Alternatively, you could wait until the product is absorbed to go to bed.
Wear sunscreen: SPF 50 is best. Try to reapply after washing your hands, and every two hours if you're in the sun. UV rays cause 'photo-aging' (aka wrinkles, rough texture and moles) and can contribute to skin cancers. Use a non-comedogenic, mattifying sunscreen (As to not rub the product off when using your hands).
Keep nails trimmed, filed and at an appropriate length: If you play a string instrument, you know that long nails are a no-go. The same goes for gardening, volleyball, a job that involves typing, etc.
If your nails are stripy, this usually indicates a protein, vitamin A or zinc deficiency. Different people are more susceptible, but I recommend a well-rounded multivitamin supplement. (Or, better yet, improving your diet)
Ingredients to look for
Glycerin: a gentle and universally compatible humectant
Shea butter: a natural ingredient for deep hydration
vitamin E: an inflammatory antioxidant with natural sun protection
Ceramides: lipids naturally produced by the skin, which restore and maintain the skin barrier
Urea: combats roughness and dry texture through its keratolytic properties.
SPF: at lest 30, to prevent photo-aging and skin cancers
+ Cotton gloves: synthetic materials like polyester aren't very breathable and can cause irritation
What to avoid
Exposing your hands to cleaning chemicals: wear rubber gloves when cleaning the kitchen, washing the dishes or the car.
Alcohol-based hand sanitizers: extremely drying to the skin, and can cause roughness and cracking.
Fragranced soaps: fragrance in any beauty product is a bad idea, as it is drying and an acne, rosacea and eczema trigger.
Biting at your fingernails: not only does this make your nails look unsightly, it is also very unhygienic, as dirt and germs accumulate underneath them throughout the day.
Picking at cuticles: consider a fidget / sensory toy to keep your hands busy.
Extra: how to do a hand massage
Massages improve circulation and relax muscles that we use strenuously. Almost everyone uses their hands all day to do all sorts of tasks, so this is universal.
Apply an oil, lotion or Vaseline to reduce friction
Press your thumb into your palm, and move in circles around the centre.
Take each finger at a time and close a fist around it, pressing down and sliding upwards, like you're getting toothpaste out of a tube.
Press your one thumb onto the muscle of the other, on your palm, and move around that muscle to relieve tension.
Press the very tips of your fingers between your index finger and thumb.

Does Bruce do steroids? He must?? But then the side effects?
If this was real life, yes absolutely he'd be on steroids, HGH, Testosterone, everything else you could get your hands on legally (and illegally). There's no way to get through that much combat, muscle building, and cardio without something extra juicing you up.
But in canon/comics, no I don't think so. It's repeatedly mentioned that everything he has comes from sheer will and discipline. So he's probably in the 99th percentile for genetics when it comes to muscle and endurance, and then also in the 99th percentile for his maintenance routine and diet. Combined, it puts him as high up as a human physically can be without "cheating" aka using steroids or HGH.
I also agree that even if he did use steroids, it would be for very strategic bulk and cut cycles. Too much HGH, steroid and T use makes you puffy, makes your stomach swollen, and actually physically changes the shape of your face over time (see the Mannings or Leo). Steroids come with some wild side effects such as irritability, deep cystic acne, etc that would be a huge disadvantage to both his training routine, patrol, and his day job as Brucie Wayne.
So no. I think generally he will push as far as he can through genetic, discipline, and diet alone. And with his background, that can get him pretty damn far.

Hey loves, we all know that I am a huge self care advocate. I have been loving myself real bad and one way to do it was through AROMATHERAPY.
So today let’s talk about it.
I have been looking into different ways to relax myself. From crystal baths to bedtime yoga, I am all ears to try anything. I started to read more about the Chinese Self healing method and through my research on the matter, I found out about aromatherapy!
So what is aromatherapy?
It is basically a holistic practice that uses essential oils to improve your overall well being. It is something that can be use with other practices such as meditation or visualization.
Here are few ways to do/use it
Through a diffuser: it will disperse the essential oil in your space making it easy to inhale and practice some inhalation exercises.
Through topical use: putting essential oil into body oil for either your skincare or massages.
Through your bath: adding drops of essential oils into your bath creates an aroma therapeutic experience. This is a chef kiss experience trust me!
Through compress: you basically use warm or cold compress infused with essential oils to release pain or to relax.
Because i love you guys, here is a list of essential oils and their use:
Lavender: Calming, sleep aid, relieves anxiety.
Peppermint: Energizing, eases headaches, aids digestion.
Eucalyptus: Clears congestion, antimicrobial.
Tea Tree: Antiseptic, combats acne, supports immunity.
Chamomile: Reduces stress, promotes relaxation.
Lemon: Uplifting, cleansing, boosts focus.
But my personal favourite is vanilla, its warm scent uplifts your mood and has great comforting properties.
I hope you give aromatherapy a try and discover more way to love yourself! There is so many thing we can do to improve our selves and i just want to be the prettiest and healthiest version of myself and i can feel I’m aligning there.

Seagull gently placed the bag of goodies she threw together last minute into Obsessions base from outside a window. “Knock knock.” She stated as her way of asking for permission to enter. She didn’t want to jump scare the other vigilante.
She came over as fast as possible once Obession said she could use support. She had gathered that sweets were generally useful to combat unpleasant emotions. Of course she hadn’t really asked the vigilante she patrolled with a few times about her preferred sweets, so she threw together a little bit of everything she had stored.
That led to the bag containing peanut m&ms, yorkies, Reese’s cups, Hersey kisses in milk dark and white chocolate, small lollipops in random flavors, sour patch kids, and small bags of gummy bears.
Why does a robot have so much candy? It’s very meltable and its liquid can burn in her engine (as almost anything can). Also she likes giving out candy to any kids she ends up protecting while on patrol..
Obsession heard the "knock knock" outside her office window and went to open it. She was still in her suit, but her helmet was on the desk. Which meant her face was visible. Curly blond hair, blue eyes, acne, and currently a redness around her eyes that showed she had been crying.
It wasn't often that she let people see her, Ashleigha, but Seagull had earned it.
"Thanks for coming" she said, as she let her friend in.
